Monsieur Spade is a period drama starring Clive Owen, reviving the character famously played by Humphre Bogart in The Maltese Falcon. The series, billed as ‘neo noir’ hasn’t received the same fanfare as a lot of the other shows out there, but I think it’s a worthwhile palette cleanser.
A Murder at the End of the World is a really fun psychological thriller starring Brit Marling (who also created the show) alongside the beloved Emma Chamberlain as an amateur sleuth trying to solve a murder at an arctic retreat in Iceland.
What do you get when you mix Paul Dano, Pete Davidson, and Seth Rogan? Dumb Money, the film all about the GameStop short squeeze from back in January 2021. Remember that? Well this movie is the dramedy based on it. Add America Ferrera, Sebastian Stan, and Shailene Woodley, and you’ve got a sleeper hit.

I highly doubt it. “Elly Conway” is actually the name of a character in the upcoming movie Argylle, so there’s much mystery behind how the book ties to the film, out Feb 2. I’ll be watching it for sure….four words: Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa.
